1. When and where will the Amateur Canicross take place?
The competition will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Kuźnia Raciborska.
Start after the end of the Polish Cup races (around 1 p.m.)
Distance: about 4 km (may change due to weather conditions).
2. Who can participate in the competition?
Anyone, regardless of skill level.
With any healthy dog over 12 months old (no weight limit).
3. What does the start look like?
Single or pair starts.
Intervals between competitors: 15, 30, or 60 seconds (depending on the number of participants).
The detailed schedule will be published after registration closes.
4. How to register?
Registration is done through the website (see registration below).
After creating an account and adding your dog in the "DOGS" section, go to the "COMPETITIONS" section.
Find the event "Dog Adventure Sprint Race" and select the "DC AMATOR" class.
After completing the application, click "SAVE."
5. What are the requirements for the dog?
The dog must be at least 12 months old and clinically healthy.
Must have valid vaccinations:
Rabies,
Distemper, infectious hepatitis, parvovirus,
Leptospirosis,
Kennel cough (recommended).
Deworming must be done no more than six months before the competition.
6. How to send the dog's documents?

7. What equipment is required?
Bungee line (1.5–2.5 m when stretched).
Dog harness (sled type recommended).
Waist belt for the competitor.
Recommended safety carabiner (quick-release).
8. Is it allowed to start in spiked shoes?
No. Shoes with spikes or metal reinforcements are prohibited.
9. Is overtaking other dogs on the trail allowed?
Yes, but specific rules apply. See the PZSPZ regulations for details.
10. Is there a minimum dog weight requirement in Canicross Amateurs?
No. There is no weight limit in this category.
